#18 Guatemala: tostada
I love these. Keller loves making guacamole. They are very easy and very fast to make. Winning all around!
Tostadas
Ingredients:
flat hard shell tortillas (available in the taco section of grocery stores)
1 can refried beans
salsa as you like it
cilantro and red onion sprinkles
1 avocado
salt
garlic powder
Directions:
Combine refried beans and 1/4 to 1/2 cup of salsa in a bowl to microwave, or in a pot over heat. Stir to combine when warm. Taste. Does is need more salsa? The consistency should be thinner than refined beans so that it is easier to spread on the taco.
Place avocado insides into a bowl with a pinch of salt and garlic powder. Mash until combined.
Assemble tostada! Corn tortilla, refried bean/salsa mix, guacamole, and cilantro/red onion sprinkles! So easy and addictive.
