This recipe is from Wegmans, and, the only reason I'm putting my version here is that sometimes Wegmans takes it off of it's website, and I want a record of it!
Ingredients:
1 cup red lentils
2 cups water
drop of oil (only if you want! works fine without oil)
1 small onion, diced
1 stalk celery, chopped
4 cloves of garlic, minced
1 large tomato, diced small
1/2 green pepper, diced
4 cups water, 2 bullion cubes
1 Tablespoon Tabasco
1/8 teaspoon each: turmeric, cumin, cayenne, chili powders
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
cornstarch, if you want, to make it thicker
I think you can figure out how to make this chili, based on the order of ingredients. Enjoy! :)
