#45 Argentina: dulce de leche
I researched Artentina cuisine several times, hoping to come up with a magic "YES THIS IS SOOOOOOOO ARGENTINIAN" dish... and... it came down to this: dulce de leche. I read that you could try it with almond milk or coconut milk. I went with coconut.
Vegan Dulce de Leche
Ingredients:
14. 5 ounce can of coconut milk
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
Directions:
Heat in a small pot. Stir often, simmering for 30-45 minutes. It should drastically reduce itself to a pudding. That's it! Eat as a pudding, or dip cookies into it, or serve with whipped cream or berries.
